Sarah's original four-pillared therapeutic approach, "BEST" (Basic Enneagram and Somatic IFS Therapy) can support your wellness and healing by creating a safe and validating space for individuals to explore and understand their heightened sensitivity and emotional experiences. Drawing from the most effective evidence-based modalities for treating trauma such as divorce, death, and disaster, this approach focuses on helping empaths develop healthy boundaries, self-care practices, and coping strategies to manage overwhelming emotions and empathic absorption, and can address any related challenges, such as setting clear interpersonal boundaries, managing empathy fatigue, and fostering self-compassion.
Sarah's style of ADHD treatment aims to address the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of the disorder. Through various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based techniques, individuals with ADHD can learn practical strategies to improve time management, organizational skills, impulse control, and attention regulation. Sarah also provides a supportive environment for individuals to explore the emotional impact of ADHD, address co-occurring conditions, and develop self-esteem and resilience.

Adolescence is arguably the most difficult and confusing time of life. The unexpected physical, social, emotional, and mental changes can occur on a daily, even moment by moment, basis, and thus can be extraordinarily overwhelming to a young person, especially one with identified exceptionalities (neurodivergence, giftedness, etc.). The intense emotions that accompany this overwhelm are often so distressing that young people may cope by shutting down and/or lashing out. These extremes lead to a separation from self and authentic experience of emotion in real time, frequently resulting in depression, anxiety, or other mental health complications. The remedy? Re-engaging with the true sellf and learning to feel and express emotions as they occur, and communicate those experiences to a safe person who sees the best in the child. With years of experience counseling teens in the public schools, Sarah is highly skilled at working with young people and loves every minute of it. Sarah provides a safe and supportive space where adolescents can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build a foundation for a healthy, fulfilling life.
Depression
If you are struggling with depression, Sarah, will listen with understanding and empathy, and help you connect with skilled and experienced practitioners (ie, functional medicine doctors, nutritionists, acupuncturists, spiritual coaches, etc.) you may need to achieve complete healing. Whatever the situtation you are facing, no matter how long you have been suffering, you are not alone, and Sarah will work with you step by step to find total health and healing. Sarah' therapeutic style provides a safe and supportive emotional space, whether in person or remotely in the comfort of your home, where you can explore your feelings and develop the tools you need to heal.
